Wärtsilä, Smart Technology Hub, Vaasa
The new research center in Vaasa enables efficient testing and product development of Wärtsilä's solutions for the marine, oil and gas industry, as well as new energy systems. New Sustainable Technology Hub (STH), start-ups and universities can create, test and develop the future of the marine and energy industry. Wärtsilä's ambitious goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from maritime transport by 60% by 2030 is being promoted in the Technology Hub, in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders. The design of the project required seamless collaboration between different design disciplines and the development of new design innovations.
