Tartu University Hospital Extension, phase 3, Tartu
University Hospital extension M and C unit. M unit is designed for the new Children`s Hospital and C block is the new Day Surgery Clinic. New wards in Children`s Clinic accommodate about 100 beds. All wards have teaching facilities for the University of Tartu Faculty of Medicine.
The work of our experts can be seen in harmonious design and solutions that bring efficiency to the hospital environment. Materials were carefully selected taking into account the needs of patients. Good cooperation and open dialogue with the client helped to achieve a child-friendly healing environment in the new children's hospital, as well as modern working and learning conditions for the hospital staff.
AW2 architects were responsible for the main and architectural design of the project. Phase 3 was completed in May 2023.
