Royal Center, Helsinki

A sports and event center Royal Center is being built in Jätkäsaari, Helsinki. The Royal Center complex includes a 6-story racket tower with indoor courts, an arena for 4,000 spectators and a 350-room hotel. The first part of the project is the Royal Park parking garage, the construction and geo- and structural planning of which was carried out by A-Insinöörit. We were also responsible for planning traffic arrangements together with the architect during the project development and planning phase of the Royal Center complex: e.g. escort/pick-up service, pedestrian areas, bus stops, main cycling route and beach route, bicycle parking and rescue routes. The parking facility was completed in 2021.
