Housing Company As Oy Kaskitie 17–21, Tampere

The renovation project involves three 4-storey residential buildings completed in 1955–1956. New insulation and thick-coat plastering was added to the old facade. The surface render was selected through a meticulous process of testing different models. The balconies and concrete entrance canopies were replaced like-for-like. The garage doors were replaced, as were the doors and windows of the commercial spaces. The project site is in the district of Kaleva in Tampere, a nationally significant built cultural heritage site. AINS Group was involved in the building survey, project planning, renovation planning (structural engineering) and contracting.
