Sibelius Hall, Lahti

Sibelius Hall, Lahti

Sibelius Hall is a congress and music center that offers a wide range of cultural services. The impressive wooden architecture of the house is combined with the old industrial history of Lahti. The building complex consists of four parts: a large hall, a renovated and red-brick former carpentry factory, a congress wing and a large Metsähalli foyer. The outer surface of the main hall is made of glass, so the light wooden wall structures of the main hall can also be viewed from the outside. The brick part of the building is the oldest surviving industrial building in Lahti. Sibelius Hall has been chosen as one of the ten best concert halls in the world in 2009 and 2015.
