M2 Kodit, Kuopio

In spring 2021, two 4-storey wooden blocks of flats were completed in Kuopio, with wood used for all the structures of the residential floors. In addition to the roof, wood was used for the cladding, staircase and stairwell walls. In construction using wood, fire safety requires special design solutions.
