Wind power parks in Kemi Ajos, Kröpuln and Storbacken
The Kemi Ajos wind farm is located in Kemi, in front of the Ajos harbour. It is the first large-scale wind farm renewal project in Finland. We drafted the building permit applications for a wind farm consisting of ten 3 MW wind turbines, and designed the earthworks and foundations. Two of the wind turbines were built in shallow water and connected by a fixed road. Eight wind turbines were built in the water off the harbour, on artificial islands. Fixed, concrete-constructed jetties were also designed for the artificial island. The Kröpuln and Storbacken wind farms have a total of 14 turbines.
