Grand Hansa, Helsinki
A luxury hotel Grand Hansa, designed to the highest standards, will be built in Kaivopiha in Helsinki. AINS Group is performing structural engineering for the renovation of Seurahuone and New Student House buildings as part of a project which involves extensive repair of the building structures, starting from the foundation, and the update of the building technology. The Hyatt hotel, operated by Primehotels, will take over the New Student House and Hansa buildings, in addition to building of the old Hotel Seurahuone. Three new floors will be added to the Hansa building, where the protected dome will house the hotel’s public spaces. The estimate for the total cost of this 21,000-square metre project is more than 60 million euros.
