- AINS Group to open an office in Jyväskylä – a new partner for sustainable renovation projects in the region
AINS Group to open an office in Jyväskylä – a new partner for sustainable renovation projects in the region
AINS Group is strengthening its foothold in Jyväskylä, one of Finland’s growth centres. Having opened on 1 September, the new office will focus on offering design and project services for large-scale property repair projects and the renovation of residential properties.
“Jyväskylä is a vibrant and attractive growth centre that has its sights on the future, just as we do. There is demand for renovation engineering services, even though the situation in the construction sector as a whole is uncertain and difficult to forecast. With our team of excellent local structural and building engineering experts, we want to offer services in the field of sustainable property maintenance and development to customers in the region,” explains Excecutive Vice President Juha Valtari.
“Repairing properties saves resources but requires broad expertise as climate conditions and environmental requirements change. We offer our expertise in the circular economy, building physics and indoor air quality to renovation projects in Jyväskylä.
AINS Group’s renovation engineers are well-known as experts in construction work related to valuable properties in city centres, challenging façade renovation and property conversion projects, particularly in the capital region and in Tampere. The architectural design companies Konkret and B&M are part of the same group.
In Jyväskylä, AINS Group has performed design work for the renovation of Jyväskylä Theatre, Paviljonki fair and event centre, Jyväskylän Lyseo Upper Secondary School, the Museum of Central Finland, the library of the University of Jyväskylä, and the construction of the Lutakko area and the Puukuokka blocks of flats. AINS Group is also the City of Jyväskylä’s framework partner.
AINS Group’s new office in Jyväskylä will initially employ 11 experienced renovation engineers and project managers.
“We know the needs of local housing companies and property owners, and renovation projects also receive investment in the Jyväskylä region. It feels good to be continuing our work as part of an esteemed company and a network of skilled colleagues,” notes engineering director Juha-Pekka Hakkarainen.
The office will be based on the former premises of Suomen Talokeskus at Vasarakatu 9. Most of AINS Group’s employees in Jyväskylä previously worked for Talokeskus, which is closing down its operations in the region.
